GREENSBORO, N.C. – “Women Own the Room,” the Wyndham Championship’s sold-out Executive Women’s Day set for Tuesday, Aug. 2, will feature Cone Health CEO, Dr. Mary Jo Cagle and the senior leadership team representing the Greensboro healthcare provider, the tournament announced today. The 83rd annual Wyndham Championship is next week at Sedgefield Country Club.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Checchio will open the event by introducing Cagle as the event’s keynote speaker. The first female CEO in Cone Health history, Cagle will discuss the power of partnerships, the importance of promoting diversity and the importance of giving back in her keynote address.
After lunch, Cagle and her leadership team will participate in a panel discussion, moderated by Checchio, regarding Cone Health’s vision for the community and why having women in top positions is so important for these times. Those from Cone Health participating in the panel discussion are:
