We caught up with Coach White, this morning over around ‘The Ranch’, at Southwest Guilford High School, in High Point…The SWG Cowboys were going at today/Friday morning, and they were working on all phases of the game, and as I was rolling out of there, they were placing a major focus on the kicking game…Kickoff returns, Kickoff Coverage, Etc…
Coach White said his young men are starting to get it, and that he has inherited a fine assistant coaching staff, from the previous Cowboy Corners, with former head coach Chuck Doak, plus Joey McGinnis III, and Derrick Anderson, all being on his staff….
Lots of work to be done, as SWG prepares to face North Davidson in a scrimmage next week, at Truist Stadium, in High Point…Southwest Guilford will open their season on Friday August 19, at home, versus Oak Grove…
Coach White wants his young men working, and he wants them to be responsible…And all of this comes about, when they get to work, and stop thinking about things too much…Just go out and get the job done, but DO IT RIGHT!!! Coach White said SWG will be running the ball a lot on offense, and that they do want to control that clock…
