The Greensboro Grasshoppers Francisco Acuna led off the game with a home run…The Hoppers took an early 1-0 lead over the Braves…Greensboro was in front 3-1, going into the bottom of the sixth inning…Rome scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth, to tie the game up, at 3-3…Rome went on to score a run in the bottom of the ninth inning, to win the game, 4-3…Hoppers’ reliever Cameron Junker gave up an intentional walk and let go with a wild pitch, and he was charged with the loss for the Grasshoppers..
Greensboro only had five hits in the contest, but the Hoppers drews six walks, and ended up leaving 14 runners on base…..
Another tough loss on the road, and back-to-back one-run losses are hard to stomach/take…
