Shock at “The Rock”: Greensboro Granite(Rock) causing Buffalo Bills fans to go ‘Stone-Cold Crazy’!!!!!

I was up by the Jefferson School back on Sunday afternoon and there was a lady out front of the school there, and she was painting “The Rock”…They have this big boulder out there on the front part/lawn of the entrance to the school grounds, and they paint it, to build school spirit…Sort of one of those “Spirit Rocks”…

Well I was walking by there, and I decided to ask the lady what she was painting on “The Rock”…”The Rock” was painted with the words Allen and the number 17 on the side I was looking at…

I thought it was maybe her son Allen’s 17th birthday or something like that, but if her son was Allen, and he was seventeen years old, then he would be a bit older than most of the other students at Jefferson School, there off of New Garden Road…

The lady who was doing the painting told me this was all about a fundraiser…People could sponsor “The Rock” and she would paint it, or they could paint it themselves to their own desires, if they put up the $20.00 fee…The paint job would be for $20.00 and it would be good for two days, or until somebody else put up another sponsorship…

She told me that she had sponsored “The Rock” last week, and that she was a big Buffalo Bills fan, and so she did a Red, White, and Blue Buffalo Bills paint motiff on “The Rock”, and then when she posted it online, and other Buffalo Bills fans started seeing the Buffalo Bills Spirit Rock, they started inquiring about how they could get on board and sponsor “The Rock” too, and that now she had it sold for the next week or so, with Buffalo Bills fans taking over with full sponsorship, and with all of the money going to the Jefferson School Fundraiser….

What I thought was Allen’s birthday number 17, that was Josh Allen #17, the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, and he was getting his name painted on “The Rock” here in Greensboro, and Buffalo Bills fans were sponsoring the Jefferson School Fundraiser, at $20.00 a pop…

“The Rock” had Allen 17 painted on one side, Buffalo Bills on another side, and the Wave of Red, White, and Blue Buffalo Bills colors, on the other sides…

Great idea for a local fundraiser, and the people from out-of-town, way up there in Buffalo, New York, have jumped all over this campaign, after it went viral on the World Wide Web…
(I wish was Jim McKay was still around, and we could get this story on the ABC Wide World of Sports.)

Well, you never know what you might see this day and time, but I learned last Sunday/weekend, that Allen is not celebrating his 17th birthday this week, but that the Buffalo Bills were bombing the Tennessee Titans, 41-7 on Monday Night Football, and that QB Josh Allen, and his Buffalo Bills are now (2-0) for 2022…

Here is the view from “The Rock” as recorded this afternoon…I had to go back, and revisit, “The Rock”….Nothing like telling the heart of your story, with moving pictures…Be sure to check it all out, when you CLICK ON BELOW…
