Peyton Manning and Eli Manning have crushed it on ESPN with “The Manningcast”. In fact, there’s times when watching those two talk about the game with their guests is better than the actual “Monday Night Football” broadcast itself.

It’s no surprise, then, to hear that ESPN is looking to create the same show but from a college football perspective — and who better to headline that show than Pac McAfee, who was recently brought onto the set of “College GameDay” full-time.

ESPN will feature an alternative broadcast of this weekend’s massive matchup between No. 5 Clemson and No. 10 NC State.

That alternative broadcast of the game will run simultaneously against ABC’s primetime coverage of the game and it will be known as “CFB Primetime with The Pat McAfee Show”.

What’s it going to look and sound like? Well, it sounds a bit like a mix between McAfee’s existing show and a bit of “The Manningcast”.

Guests for the broadcast will be announced later this week, but you can sure expect McAfee and his crew’s typically hilarious, yet insightful football commentary mixed with whatever the guest (who are sure to be headliners) brings to the table.

It’s going to be huge for the brand.
