**********The key for NWG seems to the same key we see with so many other teams, as you get this deep in the postseason…QB play usually dictates how far you can go, and how long you will last…NWG with Bristol Carter at QB now, after the injury that took out starting QB Tanner Ballou at Watauga, last Saturday night….Carter will have NWG senior RB Mike Godette at his disposal, and Godette can help carry a heavy load for the Vikings…Godette can run very well between the tackles, and Carter earns his keep as he hits the edge…When Bristol Carter gets outside and starts running East-to-West, and then sets himself up for the North-to-South finishing parts of his runs, he is very dangerous…When Carter gets running wide, and he hits the outside edge, it is usually, Katy-bar-the-Door…He is gone…NWG might want to hit a comfort zone within their passing game/attack, by going with quick hitters to Trent Cloud, Prince Brown, and Hunter Greear…Northwest can also add in some safety-valve passes in the short flat, to RB Godette…
It is a pretty good haul traveling to the Weddington Warriors campus, as you go toward Charlotte, and head on down to Matthews, and nearly end up at the South Carolina border…Most recent top talent to come out of Weddington, was RB Will Shipley, who now starts for the Clemson Tigers…In appearance, Shipley and NWG junior QB Tanner Ballou, look like they could be brothers…Minus the Shipley mustache, of course…**********

**********The key for EG will be their RB Jaiden Evans…Evans with 675 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first two 2022 Playoff games…Evans can carry the mail, tote the seed, haul a heavy load, and more…If EG can get Evans going/rolling again this week, the Wildcats will be poised to pull off another playoff upset…EG can also use the help from sophomore WR/KR/PR man Steven Murray…Murray can set Eastern up in great field position with his returns…He is also the top target for EG QB Tyreik Boyd…But it all goes back to Evans and his O-line up front…
The West Henderson quarterback, Lukas Kachilo is one heck of a threat…The EG “D” needs to see and know this man’s name and number, going into this matchup…Over 3,000 yards passing and he is responsible for 50 touchdowns…50 TD’s and that is a load…And the Falcons have a 1,000 yard rusher(Carson Dimsdale) to along with Kachilo…If you are on the EG defense, you must get to Kachilo, and you don’t want to sound like total brutes, but to put it in terms that they used to use all of the time, back in the old days, you have to “Kill Kachilo”…Get to that man and get him on the ground, and get him on the ground, in his offensive backfield…Kachilo wearing an easy number to remember, he wears #1…#1 Lukas Kachilo must be a marked man for the Eastern Guilford Wildcats’ defense on Friday night….
