Terrell Timmons(Northern Guilford High School) making a name for himself with the N.C. State Wolfpack football team

Terrell Timmons, from Northern Guilford High School, with the first touchdown catch of his college career at N.C. State University last Friday, as the Wolfpack took down the North Carolina Tar Heels, 30-27 in Double Overtime…Last Friday night, Grimsley over Hough 40-37 in Triple Overtime, and last Thursday on Thanksgiving Day, our annual Turkey Bowl pickup football game at Western Guilford Middle School, also ended in Double Overtime…

There were Overtime games all over the place last week, and none bigger than the game in Chapel Hill, where Terrell Timmons grabbed a 28-yard TD pass from Wolfpack QB Ben Finley, to help N.C. State overcome the North Carolina Tar Heels in OT….

The former Northern Guilford Nighthawk now with three receptions on the season for N.C. State, good for 79 yards, and the biggest part of the deal is that huge TD catch, back on Friday…Timmons is now part of the Pack Pride, joining our other Guilford County Wolfpack reps in Collin Smith(Eastern Guilford HS), the man in charge of all of the Wolfpack kickoffs, and Smith is kicking right along side of the Pack FG/PAT man Christopher Dunn(North Davidson HS)…Devan Boykin, from Ragsdale HS is still working hard in that Wolfpack defensive backfield, plus Bryson Speas out of Dudley HS, is still entrenched up on the Pack offensive line, and Speas is a team captain….

The Guilford County kids, Terrell Timmons, Collin Smith, Devan Boykin and Bryson Speas are doing quite well these day for the N.C. State Wolfpack…

Here is the word on Terrell Timmons coming to N.C. State, out of Northern Guilford High School….
2022 SEASON:

• Enrolled in June.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played wide receiver at Northern Guilford High School for coach Erik Westberg.

• Career Stats: In his two-year varsity career at wide receiver, caught 82 passes for 1,144 yards and 18 touchdowns.

• Senior Stats: Caught 38 passes for 549 yards and 11 touchdowns. Also had 294 yards in punt returns and 126 yards on kickoff returns. Returned a pair of punts for TDs. Selected to the 2021 Carolina Bowl. Team finished 9-2 and reached the NC 4A state playoffs.

• Junior Stats: Caught 44 passes for 595 yards with seven TDs. Tallied 178 yards on punt returns and 121 on kickoff returns – averaged 126.9 all-purpose yards per game.

• Sophomore Stats: As a sophomore: The starting quarterback on the JV team.

• Rankings: The No. 143 wide receiver nationally and the No. 28 player in the state of North Carolina by 247Sports.

PERSONAL:

• Cousin of NFL wide receiver Keenan Allen, who also went to Northern Guilford HS and has played nine seasons for the Los Angeles Chargers.
