UNCG Women’s Basketball Begins Three-Game Road Slate with South Carolina State
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro’s (UNCG) women’s basketball team begins a three-game road trip, facing South Carolina State first on Monday, December 12 with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.

· The Spartans fell to in-state foe Davidson College on Thursday in Fleming Gym, 84-54.
· Akira Wiggins tallied her fifth game this season with double figures, scoring a team-best 16 points.
· Khalis Cain contributed 13 rebounds, a game-high, for her fifth game this season with double-digit boards.
· Cain also had two blocks, two assists, and nine points.
· The Wildcats edged the Spartans in rebounds,34-33.
Davidson held the advantage in field goals (51.8%-34%), three-point field goals (61.1%-33.3%), and free throws (78.9%-65%).

· The Spartans are fourth in the SoCon averaging 65.4 points per game.
· They are second in blocked shots (3.1), turnover margin (+3.56), assist/turnover ratio (1:0.8), three-point field goals made (6.9).
