**********Several Updates coming in on this post**********…..
Finals from Southern Guilford High School:
Southern Guilford boys 50, Dudley 38
Jamias Ferere led the way for the SG Storm with 18 points…Tre McNeil was tops for Dudley with 14 points…
End of First Quarter:Dudley 10, SG 6…Halftime:SG 25, Dudley 13…End of Third Quarter:SG 39, Dudley 19…Final:SG 50, Dudley 38…SG got up by 20 points, but Dudley made a run, and cut the lead to 43-33, with 4:16 top play in the game…Dudley came back with McNeil inside and Foster outside…Dudley could not get the SG inside of 10, and the Storm go on to win, and Southern Guilford takes over first place in the Mid-State 3-A Conference….SG over Smith, 66-60 last week, and now SG Storm top Dudley tonight, 50-38…Ferere, Ross, and Blackston were big leaders for Southern Guilford…A very big win for the Southern Guilford boys basketball program…More on this game coming up…Ferere was attacking the basket tonight for the SG Storm, and Ross was showing excellent floor leadership for the Storm…
SG Scoring:Jamias Ferere 18 points, Ross 9, Blackston 9, Love 7, Dawkins 5, Ruffin 2
Dudley Scoring: Tre McNeil 14 points, Foster 12, Sutton 6, Jones 3, Taylor 3

Dudley girls 46, Southern Guilford 31
End of First Quarter:Dudley 15, SG 10…Halftime:Dudley 23, SG 18…End of Third Quarter:Dudley 36, SG 26…Final:Dudley 46, SG 31..
SG kept the game close, but when SG lost #15 Griffin to injury, the game was over for Southern Guilford…They really missed her leadership and scoring…Dudley very hard to beat in this situation, with Carney, Terry, and Haley Haith leading the way…More on this game coming up…
Dudley Scoring:Janiah Terry 11 points, Makayla Carney 11 points, Haley Haith 10, Kimora Haith 7, Cooper 2, Pass 2, Taylor 2, Speight 1
SG Scoring:Courtney Griffith 13 points, Aliyah Griffith 11 points, Williams 3, Monk 2, Westmoreland 2
Haley Haith was nailing the three-point shots in warmups, and she must have hit eight in a-row in one sequence…She was red-hot, and she didn’t have quite the same accuracy streak in the game, but she did play well…Cooper and Carney were very strong on the boards for Dudley, Janiah Terry was also shooting the ball well for Dudley, while Kimora Haith did a good job of penetrating the lane for the Dudley Panthers…Aliyah Griffith was the key to the SG Storm attack, and when she left the game with injury, the SG Storm was not totally lost, but they did not have the same approach to the game, that they had when Aliyah was at the controls…When she went down, SG was out…

Thanks to Jeff Carter, Adam Gunn, and Mr. German for being very accommodating during our trip to Southern Guilford, on Tuesday night…
