Here is the word on this game, that I was able to capture, from the Army-Navy camps…….
A lot of people don’t know that the Army/Navy GAMES are a big deal, but this weekend the basketball game will air on CBS Sports.
Austin Inge (Navy) and Jaden Ellis (Army) will represent Greensboro, NC.
This recaptures a cool rivalry from back in their high school days, here in the GreensboroSports high school basketball neighborhood….
Jaden Ellis, the former Page Pirates’ guard, had much success versus the Greensboro Day School Bengals, back as a high school sophomore in the Haeco Invitational Basketball Tournament, at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center…Page did not defeat GDS, but it put Ellis on a the big stage, and helped make and leave his mark, on the local basketball scene/court…
Austin Inge, who was with the Grimsley Whirlies before he groomed his game at the Day School, well Austin is having a great year at Navy, so it should be one “Shining Moment”, to be able to see them both sacrificing for our country, and playing Division I basketball.
