Saint Pius X Varsity Girls Basketball Team has BIG week going 4-0 and extending their win streak to 23. Saint Pius Comets are 23-0 this season and looking to add to that with two regular season games remaining on the schedule then head into post season play.
This week the Comets took on Immaculate Heart of Mary, (59-22) Summit School Varsity, (39-30) The Central Carolina Prep Defenders (32-30) and Our Lady of Mercy. (34-14)
Lola Vanore lead the way with 20 points vs IHM, 13 points vs Summit, 16 points vs Prep Defenders and 18 at OLM. Mabry Szafran chipped in 10 BIG timely points vs Prep Defenders and Mason Grainger chipped in 11 vs Summit.
It was a great week for the team. Comets are back in action at Saint Pius on Tuesday vs Sacred Heart.
