In the NW Piedmont Conference tournament championship game the Bishop McGuinness Villains took home the trophy against the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix. After a tough 1st quarter the Villains took hold of the game in the 2nd, blowing the game open with a 16 point margin. Senior Jamison Graves led the Villains with 22 points while juniors John Campbell and Cal Barrett contributed 14 points a piece along with numerous big time dunks. Bishop will host a team in the 1st round of the NCHSAA 1A State playoffs next Tuesday night.
