NCHSAA Individual Wrestling State Tournament ends with championship bout pairings set for tomorrow
**********Important Note:After review, the NCHSAA has determined that multiple clerical errors were made in the conduct of the 2A 160 lbs. Semifinal Match between Ian Moore from Bandys and Jerimiah Jones from Southwest Onslow. The two wrestlers will re-wrestle their semifinal bout at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning at the Greensboro Coliseum.**********
GREENSBORO, NC – The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) continued the 87th Annual Individual Wrestling State Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum on Friday, February 17, 2023. Day two wrapped up with the Championship Semifinals in all classifications. The Championship matches will follow the Parade of Champions tomorrow, which will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Wrestling will get underway at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning at the Greensboro Coliseum with the conclusion of Consolation Bracket matches. You can follow the tournament and brackets at TrackWrestling.com or watch live streaming video of matches via the NFHS Network.
Below are the text results for the Championship Semifinals matches in the 1A, 2A, 3A, & 4A Classifications. Wrestlers who were defeated in this round have not been eliminated from the tournament but will wrestle in the Consolation Third Round and cannot win an individual State Champion.
