The Bishop McGuinness Villains hosted the Thomasville Bulldogs in the Sweet Sixteen of the 1A NCHSAA state tournament on Saturday afternoon. In a spectacular double-overtime game the Villains were able pull out the win. Senior Jamison Graves fought to provide Bishop with 23 points. Sophomore Nicholas Graves came off the bench to hit 4 huge 3-pointers to help propel the Villains to victory. Bishop will advance to the Elite Eight and will find out who they play later Saturday evening.
