Berry Vikings Open New Facility & Defeat DIV 1 Tenn Tech

Two of Caldwell Academy Alumni, Hannah Hulsman, (’19) & Lindsey MacDiarmid, (’21) helped the Vikings of
Berry College, DIV 111, play their first-ever home match at their brand-new Beach Volleyball Facility this
past weekend. They won 3 matches & lost 1.

Defeated Spartanburg Methodist, DIV 1, Jr College, by the score of 5–0. Hannah won her match 2–0 ( 21-11 & 21–14)
Lost to Carson-Newman, DIV 11, by a score of 4–1. Hannah lost a tight match 2–0 ( 21-16 & 21-19 )
Defeated Tennessee Tech University, DIV 1, by a score of 4–1. Hannah won her match 2-1 ( 21-16, 14-21 & 15-12)
Defeated Bob Jones University, DIV 111, by a score of 5–0. Lindsey won her match 2-0 ( 21-19 & 21-9) with
Hannah winning her match 2-0 ( 21-11 & 21-16)

Berry’s overall record is 6–1 & return to action this coming weekend at the Spring Hill Classic, Gulf Shores, Ala.
