GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team hosts Big Ten opponent Rutgers University for a three-game weekend series starting on Friday, March 3.

Scouting the Spartans
UNCG is coming off two-straight wins.
The Spartans were voted to finish third in the SoCon Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
UNCG has three players with two home runs this season: Dosi Jonas, Rowan Watt, and Dallas Callahan.
UNCG have 10 double plays this season, which is fifth in the nation.
The Spartans are 20th in the nation averaging 1.11 double plays per game.
Luke Holland leads the Spartans with a batting average of .500 in five games played, while Zack Budzik is batting .400 (8-for-20) in five games played and Daniel Cerda is batting .394 (13-for-33) in nine games played.
Kennedy Jones is batting .325 (13-for-40) with six runs scored and four RBI.
