Fast-paced Game in Raleigh, with Wilson Prep leading Johnny Thomas(GDS)-coached Eastern Randolph, 37-36

Very fast-paced game in Raleigh, in the Boys NCHSAA 1-A Championship Game…At the half, in the boy’s game, Wilson Prep leads the Eastern Randolph Wildcats, 37-36…

Wilson Prep led by as many as 10 points in the first half, and Wilson got off to an extremely fast start in this game, and the officials have been letting both teams play, and go at it, and this game has been executed at a race-horse pace..ER has been down, but they have also been in front in the contest, and once ER settled down, they have been able to stay with, and play with, Wilson Prep..

Devonte Brooks, leading the ER Wildcats in scoring, with 15 points, and the big man for Wilson Prep, Ellis, has been leading the WP inside game, and making it tough for Eastern Randolph, when the Wildcats get into the paint….

ER coached by the Greensboro Day School and N.C. State Wolfpack product Johnny Thomas, and Thomas also spent time playing in the pros, for the Harlem Globetrotters….Johnny Thomas was coached by Greensboro Day School legend Freddy Johnson, back when JT was the GDS Bengals, out there on our local Lawndale Drive….

Good Luck to the ER Wildcats, and their coach Johnny Thomas, in the second half, at Reynolds Coliseum, in Raleigh…
