Greensboro falls on the road at Brevard

Brevard, NC – The Greensboro College Women’s Lacrosse team traveled to Brevard College for a Monday night USA South match-up. The Pride’s offense has been finding the goal more in the last few games and they would do the same today, but a big first quarter by the Tornados helped them secure the win over Greensboro, 24-4.

Game Notables

Sophomore Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce (Winston-Salem, NC) scored three goals to total 11 on the season

Freshman Grace Dobson (Mebane, NC) scored a one goal

Freshman Carly Walton (Tulsa, OK) had nine saves to total 60 on the season

The Pride were 3-3 on clear attempts, picked up 17 ground balls and won 11 draw controls

Greensboro will return to action on Saturday, April 15th when they host Huntingdon College at Pride field. Start time is scheduled for 12:00pm.
