The Romes Braves-Greensboro Grasshoppers game scheduled for this evening at First National Bank Field, has been moved to tomorrow night/Friday night, and it will now be part of a Braves-Grasshoppers Doubleheader, with the first pitch coming in at 5pm…Gates will open for this Friday evening double-dip at 4:30pm….Fireworks due up after the games, on Friday night….

Hoppers Game Postponed
Tonight’s game has been postponed due to inclement weather. We will play a DOUBLEHEADER tomorrow (Friday, 4/28) with two 7-inning contests. Gates will open at 4:30 pm and the first pitch of Game 1 will start at 5:00 pm. Tickets from tonight’s game can be exchanged for any regular season 2023 Hoppers game (except July 4th).

We can all watch live as the Carolina Panthers reveal who will be the overall #1 pick in this year’s NFL Draft….Will it be Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Will Levis, or Anthony Richardson???
Going in, we feel like it has to be a QB, but who will it be??? Are the Panthers set on Bryce Young, or do they have a last-minute trade idea that they have been holding up their sleeve, where they do a quick trade with the Houston Texans, and drop down and pick at #2(therefore selecting C.J. Stroud), and then let the Texans move up, and pick up Young at #1, and then the Panthers would have also have Houston’s #12 pick in Round One, where they could grab a top-tier running back left on the grid…
Is there any mystery, or suspense left out there as we head into the draft??? Who, and at what spot, will Hendon Hooker from Dudley High School be picked??? Heard some talk this week, that the Tennessee Titans might have an interest in Hooker….The Titans are slotted to select at #11 in Round One, and the Detroit Lions have the overall number six pick in the First Round, but the big question remains, will Hendon Hooker go in Round One???
If I am Houston, I might just grab that top-tier Alabama running back at #2 overall in Round One, and then with my pick at #12, I could take Hooker there….The Washington Commanders are always going to be QB hungry, and they could take Hooker with the 16th pick overall in Round One…
Just some scenarios for you, and nobody else around here is talking about what we might see starting at 7pm tonight, from a local perspective, so we’ll take it upon ourselves to put the talk out there…They should have called me in to be the NFL Draft expert, because much of what I am giving you here, is like the NFL gospel truth, you know like “spot on brother”…
