Games times set for USA South Softball Championship Series
Greensboro, NC – The USA South Athletic Conference has officially announced the game times for this weekend’s Softball Championship Series. The #2 seed Greensboro College Pride and the #1 seed Pfeiffer University Falcons will meet in a best of three series at Jack Ingram Field on the campus of Pfeiffer located in Misenheimer, N.C. Games One and Two will be played on Friday, May 12th at 2:00pm and 4:00pm, with Game Three, if necessary, to be played on Saturday, May 13th at 2:00pm.
Both teams hosted the four team opening rounds of the tournament this past weekend, with each going undefeated, earning the opportunity to play this weekend. The two teams met earlier in the season in Greensboro at Penn-Wright Stadium at Barber Park, with the Pride coming away with the two wins, 7-3 and 1-0. However, the Falcons were able to secure the #1 seed to host the Championship Series.
