Most of our area Guilford County high school football practices will begin today, with some teams choosing to go with practice in the morning, and others will forego the morning, and hit the field, in the afternoon…
It will be business as usual, as the teams get back at it today…Did not hear of any Midnight Madness Workouts, but there may have been some…Do remember a few seasons back, and I was over at Proehlific Park at Midnight for the Western Guilford startup, left there and went over to Page for their practice, then left Page and went to Dudley, left Dudley and went to Southern Guilford, and then closed out the roundup by making my way to Jamestown, for the end of the Ragsdale Tigers practice…
There were five stops along the way that night, and not sure if we have anything like that going on today…
But we were there, and today, practice is up and running again…It was always August 1st back in the day, as long as August 1st did not fall on a Sunday…Now they let them go at it on the last day of July…
They will be out there getting it on today, and let’s hope it goes well for them…
