HOT Day at Grimsley HS Saturday and N.C. State Wolfpack gets the commitment of a red-hot receiver in the GHS Whirlies’ Terrell Anderson

Was at Grimsley High School today and at just after 4pm, the Grimsley Whirlies’ wide receiver Terrell Anderson announced his college football commitment, and his decision was coming between Tennessee, Michigan, and N.C. State….

And with members of the The Wolfpacker.com/Pack Pride website in attendance, Terrell Anderson surprised no one when announced he would be attending and catching college football passes at N.C. State University, in Raleigh, N.C.

I told Terrell Anderson’s mom and dad, early on, a good while before Terrell stood up and put on the Wolfpack cap, I told his mom and dad that is was very obvious that Terrell was headed to Raleigh, and N.C. State….

Back when Alex Taylor committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels two weeks ago, The Inside Carolina website crew was in attendance, and so today when I saw the people with The Wolfpacker/Pack Pride t-shirts on milling around the Jamieson Stadium field, I knew and many others knew that Terrell Anderson was on his way to N.C. State…There were even a few N.C. State fans on hand, wearing their Wolfpack caps and Pack gear…

I know the Wolfpack Brand as good as anybody in this town, and I was with the Pack and following State, back when the Buckey Brothers/Twins came here from Ohio, with the QB Dave Buckey, throwing to his brother, the WR Don Buckey…And there was the vaunted N.C. State Wolfpack crew of RB’s featuring Willie Burden, Stan Fritts, Charley Young, and Roland Hooks, and there has never been a better overall college backfield together at one time or another, like that quartet of running backs that were there in Raleigh, back in the mid-1970’s…
(We need to add in two more from the 1970’s at N.C. State, and they were Guilford County men that made a difference, and that would be RB Ted Brown and QB Johnny Evans, with both of those boys being from High Point Andrews High School.)

Philip Rivers and Tory Holt helped take the Wolfpack to a whole new level, and now Dave Doeren and his staff are keeping the N.C. State Wolfpack in the thick of the ACC races every season…

Terrell Anderson, a 1,000 yard receiver for the Grimsley Whirlies will help the Pack…He will join fellow-Guilford County receiver Terrell Timmons and having two Terrells should send N.C. State to the well, many times over, on the Saturday afternoons in Carter-Finley Stadium….I still can remember back in the day, when they just called the N.C. State football stadium, Carter Stadium…

Terrell Anderson could probably get on the field for the N.C. State Wolfpack this season, and it’s not as if the Pack are not good at wideout, it is just that Anderson can go upfield, and he is excellent on those hitch-and-go sideline routes and that can help any team, at any time….N.C. State also has former Ragsdale Tiger, Devan Boykin in their lineup, as a starting defensive back, and he should be back for one more season, using the Covid Card, in 2024….

N.C. State football just got deeper in the future at WR today, and Terrell Anderson is the reason, N.C. State fans will be smiling next season…In fact, many of those same N.C. State fans are smiling broad and loud today, just hearing that Terrell Anderson is on his way to N.C. State, and on his way to Raleigh…

Met Terrell Anderson’s mom and dad today, and also met his younger brother, who is a junior starting linebacker, for the Grimsley Whirlies in 2023…N.C. State is the team I follow and I look forward to following Terrell Anderson, as he hits Raleigh…

Terrell Anderson announcement video will coming in here soon, as in later on this evening…YouTube is limiting us to 24-hour only, 10 video downloads, each day now….Stay tuned…..
