Jase Bowen with a big seeing-eye double, with his ground ball to left field, getting the Greensboro Grasshoppers rolling in the very first inning of this game, and for Bowen, it was a two-run double from Bowen, and it really got the Hoppers going, giving them a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning, and the Hoppers went on to lead 3-1 headed to the second inning…Got to give it up to Jase Bowen, and give him one of our Steak n Shake Player of the Game awards..Bowen now with 22 home runs, 22 stolen bases, and 84 RBI this 2023 season, and those are SALLY League MVP-type numbers, there for Jase Bowen…

On the night Bowen going 2-5/Double/Run/4 RBI/SB….Steak n Shake POG honors also going out to Wyatt Hendrie tonight, for his 2-3 night, with a home run, two runs and an RBI, plus he walked….Nick Cimillo smelling that Steak n Shake trail, as he went 1-4, but Cimillo homered, and drove in two big runs…

The Hoppers got this game in their hands for good, in the bottom of the eighth inning, where they posted four runs, on just two hits, but they reached base four times on walks, and had one man hit by a pitch….That eighth inning was when Greensboro took control of this Thursday night contest, and the home team brought it home, and kept the “W” at home…

We gave you Bowen, Hendrie, and Cimillo numbers, plus we saw Tres Gonzalez go 1-3/2 BB’s/2 Runs…Jack Brannigan was 0-3/BB/HBP/Run…Josiah Slighter went 0-2/3 BB’s…Termarr Johnson was 1-2/HBP/Run/RBI…Francisco Acuna went 0-0/HBP…Luke Brown was 1-4/Double/Run…Maikol Escotto goes 1-3/BB/Run…
