Marsh Named Baseball’s Director of Operations

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball Head Coach Billy Godwin announced the addition of Clint Marsh as the Director of Operations on Monday.

“We are excited to have Clint Marsh as our Director of Operations,” said Coach Godwin. “His diversified background in college and summer baseball will help us hit the ground running. Clint will be a huge asset to Spartan baseball.”

Marsh comes to Greensboro from North Wesleyan after serving for almost two years as an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator and developmental coach for the Battling Bishops. He also served as the head coach of the Front Royal Cardinals a part of Valley Baseball League in Front Royal, Va., during this time.

Prior to his stint in Rocky Mount, N.C., Marsh served as the recruiting coordinator and assistant pitching coach at Andrew College in Cuthbert, Ga.

The Lexington, N.C. native served as the assistant pitching coach for the Waynesboro Generals of the Valley Baseball League in Waynesboro, Va.

Marsh began his full-time coaching career in Martinsville, Va., from May 2020-August 2020 as the pitching coach for the Martinsville Mustangs in the Coastal Plain League.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Barton College. Following his undergraduate degree, Marsh went on to gain his Master of Business Administration in Strategic Leadership at Barton, while working as a graduate assistant for the Bulldogs baseball team.
