Emmanuel Moseley(Dudley HS/Tennessee) was not available on Thursday for the Detroit Lions….
Moseley will have to wait at least one more week to make his Detroit Lions debut.

The Lions ruled Moseley, one of their top acquisitions in free agency, out for last Thursday’s season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Moseley tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last season with the San Francisco 49ers and underwent a second clean-up procedure on his knee this summer.

He missed all of training camp, but the Lions took him off the physically unable to perform list at roster cut day, anticipating a return early in the regular season.

Though he’s practiced just four times as a Lion, all on a limited basis, Lions coach Dan Campbell said he was encouraged by what he saw from Moseley this week.

“Every day he’s getting his legs back under him,” Campbell said. “He’s been getting some reps out there and then he took some one-on-one reps the other day, that was his first kind of taste of it and so you can tell, he’s got a big grin on his face. He’s starting to feel pretty good.”

Also for the Detroit Lions, is Hendon Hooker from Dudley HS/Virginia Tech/Tennessee…Hooker not scheduled to be suiting up for the Lions this season…He was injured toward the end of his college career, last season with the UT Volunteers…He is still recovering from that injury, but will be avaiable in the future for the Lions, and Detroit may decide to sit him out the entire 2023 season…

Mac McCain(Dudley HS/N.C. A&T) has been on the practice squad for the Carolina Panthers…..
