Here are three quick takeaways from Grimsley’s 56-6 win over Ragsdale.
- The Grimsley Whirlie’s offense cleaned up the mistakes from last week. The offense looked crisp right from the start, taking the opening possession 79 yards in 1:23. They scored touchdowns on every possession in the first half.
- Ragsdale’s defense struggled to contain all the playmakers for the Whirlies. Six different receivers caught passes, QB Brandon had 4 TD, RB Summers had 2TD and WR Anderson caught 2 TD.
- Ragsdale’s run game showed promise. Between the bruising running of Javonte Ford and Garrett Weldner, and the quickness of Fabian Diggs, the Tiger running attack moved the ball and can be a building block moving forward.
