Steak n Shake High School Football Players of the Week from this past Friday night with Week 15 selections headed to The Committee

Looking for the Week 15 Steak n Shake Players of the Week from last Friday night’s games, with Dudley at Crest, and Grimsley at Weddington, and soon we will be looking back for our Steak n Shake Players of the Year, for 2023…..

From Week 15, and we will send these names to The Committed and see what they shoot back at us….

From the Dudley Panthers on offense, we are looking at WR/KR man Kordell Bartley again, plus WR CJ Neely, and QB Andrew Attmore II….Should vote in the entire Dudley offensive line and we will see how that nod goes over with The Committee…On defense from Dudley, we are looking at Nasir Newkirk, Sofiyan Oumaraou, Sa’Mad Bell, and big Jordan Ratliff from last week, at Crest…

From the Grimsley Whirlies, and we will be leaning heavily on Mike Fanning for this call, we see RB Mitchell Summers, who is in here just about every week, much like Bartley and Attmore from Dudley, plus for Grimsley from last week, we look toward Terrell Anderson who had over 100 yards receiving and a total of 150-plus Total Yards…Summers with another 3 TD game, with very limited carries in the fourth quarter of the Weddington game, when Grimsley went to the air….Mike will have to fill us in on what we need on the Grimsley Defense…

On the Dudley side, Bartley with a TD reception and also an 85-yard Kickoff Return for a touchdown, plus he also had a super game on Defense….CJ Neely with 5 “Clutch Receptions” and right at 105 yards receiving…Attmore II with 2 TD passes, one TD run, and right at 245 yards passing…On defense, it was Newkirk with 12 Total Tackles to lead the Panthers to the football, with that “Roll Call to the Football” being a key D/Dudley component, Sofiyan Oumaraou had a 55-yard Pick Six for the Dudley Panthers and it really set the tone for Dudley to be the FrontRunner in this game, and the starting score by Oumaraou put Dudley in a position, where the Panthers never trailed in the contest….Sa’Mad Bell made one of the biggest stops all season long for Dudley, when the Panthers defensive end tackled the Crest runner shy of first down yardage, and Crest had only needed two inches for the first down, but Bell broke in and made the “Stone Wall” play…BTW, Bell also leads the entire state right now, with 17 Sacks…Jordan Ratliff got excellent penetration from his defensive tackle spot for Dudley, and he was making stops, before Crest could ever get any rhythm, he never let the Chargers get charging, and left them stuck in their own offensive backfield….

We were at the Dudley game, and saw every play, and some of those plays were coming at us pretty quick, but we got them, and now the decisions will go to The Committee….
