Final: 72-66 with Bishop McGuinness over Calvary Day School

The Bishop McGuinness Villains faced off against the Calvary Day Cougars in the Tyler Lewis Hoop Fest on Saturday afternoon. After a slow first half offensively, the Villains took hold of the lead in the 3rd quarter and fought off multiple runs by the Cougars to seal the victory.

Senior captain John Campbell led Bishop with his first double-double of the season (21 points and 11 rebounds). Junior Alex Waterfield knocked down 4 three-pointers in the contest and finished with 13 points. Nick Graves impacted the game defensively (tag teaming with his brother Pat) and also contributed 10 points and 5 assists. Point guard Cayden Long added 9 points with 3 assists.

The Villains continue conference play against Carver High next Tuesday in their first home game of the season.
