Stewart Adds Dutton for 2024-25 Season

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men’s golf team and Head Coach Terrance Stewart have announced the addition of Colin Dutton for the 2024-25 season.

“Colin is a true all-around student-athlete and will help the team compete to win tournaments”, said Stewart.

Dutton will transfer to UNCG for his senior year in the fall of 2024 after competing at Wingate the past three years.

He was named the 2023 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America Scholar. In 2022, he earned first place individually at the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invitational and was named the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Golfer of the Week once.

During his freshman season with the Bulldogs, Dutton posted an average score of 74.26 in nine tournaments and was one of three on the team to play in every tournament during the 2021-22 season.

He posted a career best of six-under-par (66) in the Queens Fall Invite first round at Irish Creek on Oct. 11. In addition, he was named to the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll after his efforts on the course and in the classroom concluding the 2021-22 year.

Dutton anticipates the start of the 2024-25 UNCG men’s golf season.
