Two from UNCG Men’s Track Run Personal Bests at JDL College Team Challenge
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men’s track team took a small group to the JDL College Team Challenge at the JDL Fast Track on Thursday, February 8.
Two Spartans posted personal bests in the meet.
Freshman Glodi Mvovi dropped two seconds off his previous time for a new personal best of 2:00.46 in the 800-meter run. Glodi finished first in his heat, while also taking home a top-10 finish overall placing eighth out of 33 competitors.
Classmate Logan Thanos also ran a personal best time on Thursday night. Thanos ran a personal best time of 9:29.12 in the 3000-meter run, finishing 19th out of 29 competitors. He dropped three seconds off his previous personal best time.

The Spartans return to competition with the two-day Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational from Friday, February 9 to Saturday, February 10 at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
