The Bishop McGuinness Villains took on the Carver Yellowjackets in the semi-final matchup of the NW Piedmont Conference Tournament on Wednesday night. The Villains used a stout defensive effort to hold the Yellowjackets to 6 first half points in what would be a decisive victory. Nicholas Graves paced Bishop with 21 points and 4 assists. John Campbell had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Forward Miller Aho added 8 points and 5 rebounds.
The Villains will take on College Prep and Leadership Academy in the conference championship on Friday night at the NC Leadership Academy in Kernersville.
