We talk to new Greensboro Grasshoppers manager Blake Butler on Tuesday afternoon, prior to the start of the new 2024 South Atlantic League High A baseball season, and we talk about the excitement that comes with the challenges of this new season, his time as a high school baseball player at Southeast Guilford High School, just outside of Greensboro, N.C., also his days playing college baseball with the College of Charleston Cougars, his career with the Daytona Tortagus, and how he got into the Pittsburgh Pirates system, where he is now managing the High A Greensboro Grasshoppers…
