GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men’s and women’s track & field teams continue the outdoor season with the VertKlasse Meeting this weekend from Friday, April 5 to Saturday, April 6 at Vert Stadium, hosted by High Point University.

The Spartans opened the outdoor season at the Phoenix Invitational on Friday, March 22.
UNCG saw four personal bests at Elon, with three of them from the 1500-meter run. All six that competed in the event finished in the top 10 of 58 competitors.
Hamilton led the way with his second-place finish in the 1500-meter run, while Ward placed third overall.
Sosa took home third overall out of 33 competitors in the 1500-meter run.
They then competed at the Bob Davidson Team Challenge hosted by High Point on Saturday, March 23.
Two Spartans clocked in personal bests at High Point.

Up Next

The Spartans are scheduled to compete at the Duke Invitational, hosted by the Blue Devils, and the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic, hosted by Lynchburg from Friday, April 12 to Saturday, April 13.
