Lindsey MacDiarmid, ’21 (JR) and her Berry Beach Volleyball team, D 3,,
participated in the D III AVCA National Championship,Tavares, Florida.
BRACKETS:: POOL A #1 Mary Hardin-Baylor 22W 4L,, # 4 Berry
14W 11L,, #5 Lynchburg 9W 8L. POOL B #2 Stevenson 20W 8L,
#3 Hendrix 15W 13L,, #6 Huntingdon 10W 19L,, # 7 East Texas Baptist
11W 12L. In POOL A play Berry defeated Lynchburg 3—0 & lost
to Mary Hardin-Baylor 3—1. Berry advanced to the National Semi-finals
and defeated Stevenson 3—1. In the FINALS they lost to Mary Harden-
Baylor 3—1. Lindsey DNP in any of these matches. Berry finished with
a final record of 16W 13L.
Kaitlyn Holbrook, ’19, (GRS) and her North Alabama Beach Volleyball, D I,
participated in the Blazer Beach Bash, Birmingham, Ala. They defeated
Southern Mississippi 4—1, with Kaitlyn winning 2—0. Defeated Mercer
3—2, Kaitlyn lost 2—0, defeated UAB 4—1, Kaitlyn won 2—0.
