Gladney, his 7th of the season, and it was a solo HR by Gladney, that gave the WS Dash their 1-0 lead in the Top of the First Inning…

The Greensboro Grasshoppers struck back with the team’s 135th HR of the year, when Hudson Head hit a shot to right field, and the two-run bomb by Head, put the Hoppers ahead, 2-0, in the game…Head was the head man for the Hoppers at the plate on Saturday night, as he finised a Triple shy of the Cycle, going for a HR, a Double, and a Single…Hudson Head 3-4/HR/Double/2 Runs/2 RBI…Over his last 4 games Hudson Head going 9-15/HR/3 Doubles/4 Runs/4 RBI….Impressive stretch for Hudson Head, and when will he be headed to Altoona???
The BIG number for the Hoppers winning pitcher, Patrick Reilly, was the Number 7…Reilly goes 7 innings, and that is the first time we have seen a Greensboro Grasshoppers pitcher go for 7 innings, here at home this season…Reilly has been the Hoppers top pitcher at home in 2024…On this Saturday night, Reilly goes 7 Innnigs, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, with 1 BB/6 Ks…After that solo HR by the Dash’ Gladney, Patrick Reilly retired 19 of the 23 batters that he faced…Reilly with 91 pitches on the night, and 57 of them went for strikes…
