Four runs in the sixth inning, and two runs in the seventh inning, and that was more than enough to top the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Sunday afternoon, at First National Bank Field…The game was so very tight, between the Hoppers and the Asheville Tourists, over the first five innings of the contest, but by the time we got to the sixth inning, the Tourists were ready to put this game away, and hit the road headed toward home, in the North Carolina mountains…

In that top of the sixth inning, the Logan Cerny double, and the Cam Fisher two-run homer were key parts that got the A’ville Tourists rolling…

Hopper hitters- Mitch Jebb 1-2/Double/BB..Kalae Harrison and Luke Brown 1-3…Hudson Head 1-4….More later today..

Asheville hitters-Logan Cerny 3-5/Double/2 Runs/RBI…Fernando Caldera 2-4/HR/Double/Run/RBI…Luis Encarnacion 2-5/Run/3 RBI…Cam Fisher 2-4/HR/Run/2 RBI…Anthony Sherwin 0-2/2 BBs/Run…Four players picked up the nine A’ville Tourists hits….

Asheville claims the weekly Six-Game Series, 4-2…Hoppers now at (2-7) over their last nine games, and go over to start a Six-Game Series with the Winston-Salem Dash, beginning on Tuesday of this week….It will be a rare Tuesday day game at 11am, to start off the series with the WS Dash….
