Quite a talented group with Patrick Bailey, Wil Myers and Aaron Wiggins having gone on to do quite well in professional baseball and basketball, and do believe that Brandt Bronico played professional soccer…

I used to rub Jamath Shoffner’s head for good luck back when he was probably 5 or 6 years old, and he had a full head of curly blonde hair, and to me it was good luck to rub his head before soccer games…

I played basketball with Aaron Wiggins back when he was maybe 5-6 years old…And have known the entire Wiggins family for many years…

Covered Theo Pinson all the way back, when he was playing middle school basketball for the Southeast Guilford Falcons…Covered his games in high school too, along with Coach Brad Ehrman’s games and Coach Davis’ games…

Broadcast games with Patrick Bailey catching for WES before he took off for N.C. State and the MLB, and did games with Wil Myers and Weston Wilson too…Weston Wilson also made it to MLB, after his college career at Clemson, and Weston’s dad Billy Wilson played soccer and basketball and maybe baseball too for WES back in the day…Billy Wilson was teammates with Robert Tucker, Robbie Hicks, and Dennis Hanlin, guys I coached way back when…

Lots of connections, and a great group going to the Hall, over Wesleyan Christian Academy…David Sanford coached many of those outstanding WES Trojans soccer players back in the 80’s and 90’s….Brad Ehrman many a hard-fought basketball game coaching vs. Greensboro Day School and Bengals’ coach Freddy Johnson…And coach Scott Davis, teammates in college with Coach Randy Norris and Coach William Hardin, and all three together back there at Louisburg Junior College…Lots of dots connected here…
