The Carolina Panthers sponsored GCS Flag Football league for the girls, and it was incredible. It has blown up around the state. The Southwest Guilford High School girls were the #1 seed going into the playoffs this past weekend and they defeated SE Guilford 16-14, Grimsley 18-6 and a very talented Western Guilford team in the finals 34-31.
This was super cool to see, and a big thanks goes to our district AD Leigh Hebbard and host AD Gordon Hagen for providing structure and leadership!
