It is almost time for the start of 2025 and we can’t wait! We have 24 different sports on the calendar including new additions like Beach Wrestling, Roller Derby and Disc Dog. Things kick off in February & March with our Winter Games events followed by our Summer Games which will be returning to Greensboro for the first time since 2018. 2025 VENUE HIGHLIGHT – GREENSBORO COMPLEX
The Greensboro Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that annually hosts a wide array of events including athletic competitions, concerts, fairs, conventions and more. The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious basketball championships and concerts. The Complex also includes the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center that will be jam packed with BODYARMOR State Games action the weekend of June 28-29 as it hosts Arm Wrestling, Karate, Pickleball, Powerlifting, Roller Derby, Strongman and Wrestling. Plus Taekwondo will be taking place June 21 at the Complex inside the Novant Health Fieldhouse, home to the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets.
