The threat of winter weather has resulted in the need for student safety. Schools on remote after school activities cancelled.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Guilford County with the possibility of sleet and freezing rain. Therefore, Guilford County Schools will operate remotely tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 11. Afterschool activities have been cancelled. Essential staff will report on their normal schedule. All other staff will operate according to Plan B. Students should check Canvas for their assignments. Meals will be available to school-age children from noon to 1 p.m. at Dudley High, Rankin Elementary and Union Hill Elementary. Meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be eaten on-site.
