Guilford College Women’s Basketball Moves Up Start Time vs. Averett
Quakers will now battle Cougars at 5:00 PM with impending weather

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford College women’s basketball team, in collaboration with Averett University and in the safety and best interests of all involved, have made a time change, moving their contest against the Cougars up to a 5:00 PM tipoff the departments announced on Wednesday.
The Quakers will still clash with AU at Jack Jensen Court inside the Ragan-Brown FieldHouse now just with the adjusted start time in an effort to avoid any complications from weather.
The changes come with a significant winter storm bearing down on the region and with the adjusted time, the department hopes for better road conditions for all participants, workers, and fans. In that vein, Guilford Athletics would like to emphasize the interest of safety as the games approach, and wish all attendees safe travels.
