Former Southeast Guilford Falcon Blake Butler back to lead the Greensboro Grasshoppers again this 2025 Season

Checked in with Blake Butler today, down at First National Bank Field, home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers, and was able to get the Blake take on the upcoming 2025 Hoppers’ season, with Opening Day/Night coming up this Friday at 6:30pm….

Hard for Blake to shake the old Greensboro Connections, since he grew up here, and attended and starred in baseball for the Southeast Guilford Falcons, with his old coach, Dave Beasley…

Blake spake/spoke about what we can expect to see from the Hoppers this time around and he’s hoping that the Team Defense and the Pitching can carry this team…

Blake’s dad, Chris I think it is, runs the Bob’s Curb Market, out on South Holded Road, and right near the Emerald Point Water Park…Bob’s Car Wash is right there with the Curb Market, and those two businesses have been around for many, many years, and their family traditions go all the way back to Blake’s grandfather Bob…

Blake has enjoyed since some birthday cake, since we saw him last, as his little son has celebrated another birthday…All in the day of Baseball Skipper/Manager, and for Blake he may have to grab a rake, and do some field work prior to Opening Day, just he can get the full appreciation for the ballpark experience…

When you think about the rake it brings back memories of Jake, and that would be Jack Holloway, the old grounds crew and stadium ops man, from years gone by….

It is time for the Blake Butler Era/Part II to bust through, and without further ado, or to do, let’s bring on Blake Butler and his interview….Straight shot, and no take two on this interview…Blake is ready to Shake, Rattle, and Roll…..

Here we go and CLICK BELOW for this video interview, ready for you….
