Just looking back through and studying back through the baseball games on Friday night, at First National Bank Field…And when you look at Game One, you see where Bowling Green scored two runs, just enough to win the contest, and for the BG Hot Rods, it was Ryan Cermak scoring both of their runs, and he was driven in each time by Jhon Diaz…Diaz and Cermak accounted of all of the BG Hot Rods scoring in the Rods’ Game One victory….

GAME TWO (Grasshoppers: 4 – Hot Rods: 1)

The Grasshoppers defeated the Hot Rods 4-1, in game two on Friday, May 30. Greensboro outhit Bowling Green 7-3 as the Grasshoppers had one mishap.

Outfielder Shalin Polanco led the Grasshoppers offense as he went 2-3 with a home run, two RBI, and one run scored. Outfielder Esmerlyn Valdez followed close behind as he went 2-4. Hits for Greensboro were also recorded by Omar Alfonzo and Kalae Harrison.

Starting on the mound for Bowling Green was righthanded pitcher Garrett Edwards as he tallied four strikeouts and gave up three hits, two earned runs, and four free bases on four innings of work. Edwards took the loss for the Hot Rods and fell to 4-2 on the season.

Just looking back through and studying back through the baseball games on Friday night, at First National Bank Field…Got to give it up for Khristian Curtis, as he pitched very well over his 4 1/3 Innings, with the BG Hot Rods not getting their first base hit until the fourth inning…A Double to right field, from the aforementioned Ryan Cermak, got the Hot Rods into the hits column and it broke up the No-Hit bid from the GSO Hoppers, Khristian Curtis…

During his time on Friday in Game Two, Curtis walked three BG Hot Rods, and he came up with 8 very big Strikeouts, to go along with his one run allowed on just one hit, for Bowling Green…Just a heck of an outing from Curtis…He is one of our REMAX Revolution Players of the Game…The other nod for POG goes on Offense to Shalin Polanco, for his two-run Home Run in the fifth inning, and Polanco’s bomb to right field gave the Hoppers a 4-1 lead over Bowling Green and that’s how the Hoppers won it, 4-1 was the FINAL…

Oh Yeah, and Polanco also had a single and a walk in the game…Polanco with a HR, a base hit Single, a Walk, and he scored a Run, and he drove in 2 runs with his HR…Polanco and Curtis both on the Hoppers big stage on Friday night…Esmerlyn Valdez also had two hits, with a pair of singles for the Grasshoppers…Jaiver Rivas was 1-3, with a Walk/Run…Omar Alfonzo was 1-4, and Fonzie had Solo HR…Kalae Harrison went 1-4, and he came up with a Big Double during his firts at-bat….Harrison also Doubled in the first game of the day on Friday afternoon…

We have it, and the GC/RR must be for Curtis…Looking back at the Golden Corral, and the REMAX Revolution Realty team…..
