Greensboro Green was down 4-0 early, then fought back and took a 6-4 lead, before New York’s Grand Slam team tied the game at 6-6, and then Grand Slam took a 7-6 lead into the Top of the Seventh Inning, where Greensboro Green had a runner at third base representing the tying run, and down one run, Greensboro Green left it at the plate where their last batter had a 2-2 count on him with two outs, and Greensboro Green had a runner at third with the game-tying run, but the last Greensboro Green batter goes down on a “called Strike Three”, and the team from GB fell hard, with the 7-6 final score, in favor of Grand Slam New York…Big Celebration on the field by Grand Slam at the conclusion of the game, as the New Yorkers took down the Host Greensboro, North Carolina team, at the 2025 COLT Baseball East Zone Tournament…..
