Cycle North Carolina is excited to announce that Oriental has been selected as the host town for the 2026 Coastal Ride, to be held April 24-26.
We can’t wait to return to the Sailing Capital of North Carolina for three days of amazing riding!

Rest Stop Highlight:Montgomery General Store
The first rest stop on Day 3 will be in the Historic Village of Gold Hill. The village touts itself as the “middle of everywhere” and the Montgomery General Store is a jewel on the necklace of its many treasures.
Take time to explore the village but also listen to a live blue grass music jam inside the store while grabbing an ice cream cone. The jam will be just like what happens here every Friday night. Be sure to speak to the store owner, Vivian Hodges, who has played a vital role in preserving the community and blue grass music in North Carolina.
