UNCG Men’s Soccer Enters United Soccer Coaches Poll at No. 23

GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the first time this season, the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men’s soccer team is in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll, earning a No. 23 ranking for the opening week of action. This is the first national ranking for the Spartans
since last season’s ranking of No. 18 in 2024.

UNCG is also ranked No. 23 in the TopDrawerSoccer National Poll for the second-straight week.

Among national statistical categories, UNCG is Top-10 in the nation in total goals (4th/9), scoring offense (6th/4.50), points-per-game (8th/12.50), shots-on-goal per game (8th/9.00) and shot accuracy (10th/.667).

UNCG is hot with a 2-0 start, scoring nine goals combined in those two matches. The Spartans opened the 2025 slate with a 6-2 victory over Radford, seeing two goals from Enzo Dovlo, two from Julien Le Bourdoulous and a
goal each from Arnaud Tattevin and Trym Linberg. Dovlo continued his torrid pace to start the year netting a hat-trick against VCU in the 3-2 victory.

UP NEXT

The Spartans head to St. Petersburg, Florida, next to take on the South Florida Bulls at Al Lang Stadium Thursday, Aug. 28, at 7:00 p.m. Then they travel to Orlando, Florida, to battle the UCF Knights on Sunday, Aug. 31, at 7:00 p.m.
