UNCG Women’s Golf Finishes Round Two of Blessings Collegiate Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women’s golf team sits in 10th place after round two on Tuesday at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

TEAM

UNCG carded a 34-over-par (322) in the second round of play. With a total score of 64-over par (640).

As a team, the Spartans recorded 12 birdies and 37 pars on the day.

Arkansas is leading the 10-team leaderboard with one-under par (575) after two rounds of action.

INDIVIDUAL

Kasey McIlvaine leads the Spartans after two rounds of play, carding an eight-over par (80) in round two. She is currently in 32nd place with a 13-over par (157).

Elle Burnette recorded a 10-over par (82), notching three birdies on the day to be in 38th place after round two.

Sophie Lauture carded a 12 over-par (84) as she sits in 46th place.

Lulu Leetham jumped four spots to 51st place in round two, recording a team best six-over par (78).

Julia Baeumken rounds out the scorecard with a 10-over par (82) in 53rd place.

UP NEXT

The Spartans will continue at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational with the final round on Wednesday at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
