Tonight Football in Focus will roll at right around 6pm, with our first guest Coach Randy Norris…Coach Norris always leads things off for us, and he will get in rolling and moving again this evening…We will talk high school football and look back at last week’s games, where our Guilford County Schools went (2-8) in Round One of the NCHSAA Football Playoffs…This week we have Six Teams still standing, and we will see who Coach Norris thinks has the best chances of winning their games, this Friday night…
The two Winners from last week were Page, 68-0 over McDowell, and the Dudley Panthers, who topped Glenn 35-14….We lost Southeast Guilford, Eastern Guilford, Western Guilford, Northwest Guilford, Southern Guilford, Ragsdale, Smith, and College Prep and Leadership Academy/CPLA….This week we see Grimsley, Northern Guilford, Northeast Guilford, and High Point Andrews, joining Dudley and Page for Round Two of the PostSeason…

Next up on our Football in Focus Show we will look to bring in the Kiser Middle School athletic director Brian Avolio…He is the man in charge of the Kiser Tigers’ athletic programs, and have to get him to give us his evaluation of the New Kiser Gymnasium…And the word on how the Kiser teams are doing in the Fall Seasons, plus how do the basketball teams look as their seasons get ready to roll…
After Coach Avolio, we hope to have Kiser Football Coach Ben Porter, ready for a sit-down visit…We will get his word on that tough Tigers loss back on Wednesday to Eastern Guilford…14-12 Final, and Kiser had the ball late with a chance at the Comeback Victory…Meet with Coach Porter, and then hope to get a couple of his players for a brief discussion with those Kiser Tigers…Maybe Jordan, who was responsible for Two TDs on Wednesday or Tyndall, who caught a TD pass…
Then we will flip it over to the former Kiser Tiger, and now one of Grimsley’s top running backs, Ty Shoemake..Ty was the RE/MAX Revolution Player of the Week for his work in the Friday October 31 win by Grimsley, over Smith…Ty Shoemake, who was very successful in his days as a Kiser Tiger, and now bringing that same level of success to his role with the Grimsley Whirlies…Coach always said, “In a tie ballgame, go with Ty”…
