Reidsville’s 4A East Regional Final against West Craven rescheduled for Thursday

Andy Durham beat me to it, but Reidsville’s state semifinal matchup against 2-seeded West Craven has been moved forward a day.

With a chance for snow and freezing rain on Friday, this fifth-round playoff game was pulled to a day with a better weather forecast, albeit that there is a chance for bad weather on Thursday as well. If that is rescheduled as well, I will inform you here on GreensboroSports.com.

The positive to this is that the winner of this will be competing in the state championship next Thursday, so they were going to have to play a six-day game sooner or later. Either Reidsville or West Craven will get a full week to prepare for their final opponent, while the other team will go home.

The winner of this 1 vs. 2 battle faces either 1 Brevard or 6 Maiden, who are over on the West side of the bracket.

Tomorrow evening, I will publish the Rockingham County Preview for this Reidsville-West Craven matchup that decides who moves on to the state final. Also, on Thursday, I should be providing live updates for the Reidsville-West Craven game after every drive, as with last week’s game, and post game, refresh your browser for the Rockingham County Review that breaks down what happened in this playoff game.
