Men’s Basketball Moves ODAC Clash With Lynchburg to Thursday
Quakers and Hornets set tipoff time for 3:00 PM

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Guilford College men’s basketball team, in collaboration with the University of Lynchburg, and in the safety and best interests of all involved, have made a schedule change, moving their Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest back to late afternoon Thursday, the departments announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Quakers men’s basketball team will now play the Hornets on Thursday with a tipoff time set for 3:00 PM in the Turner Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Lynchburg. Guilford’s women’s basketball matchup against Hollins will remain as originally scheduled, on Wednesday night tipping off at 7:00 PM.
The change comes in the aftermath of a major winter storm that hit the region with significant icing causing hazardous travel. With the adjusted dates, the departments hope for better road conditions for all participants, workers, and fans. In that vein, Guilford Athletics would like to emphasize the interest of safety as the games approach, and wish all attendees safe travels.
